About Elephant Car Wash

Located at 1200 Black Lake Blvd SW, Olympia, WA 98502, Elephant Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Olympia in Washington. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Olympia, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Washington, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is elephantcarwash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,017 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded car washes in Olympia.

Olympia is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Olympia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They closed my favorite car wash in Tumwater, (another car wash bought them out and they're not a very good car wash.). So I took my car to evergreen car wash on the west side and it had an automatic pay so you pick which services you want any add-ons you want and you put your card in and it charges you and then you move forward to the car wash. The only thing I miss is not getting a free air freshener and – wipe cuz I always get the highest cost car wash with the wax and the ceramic seal and everything and those were always included when I bought that. There was an option to get vacuum tokens and I got two and that was 8 minutes and it actually was a lot of time I was trying to hurry and rush but I'd take my car mats out and got it all prepared before I started vacuuming and so I got my whole car done in that 8 minutes it was really nice. I will be going there from now on.

Staff are very friendly, help scrub all the areas that the machine doesn't. They helped to guide you in to the wash. Then I was able to clean and vacuum my car up after 🙏😇 they kept it very clean. The trashcans where all empty and waiting for people to clean out their vehicles. All around pleasant experience.

My wife loves this place. Says she never has to go over missed spots(why I usually do it myself). I was there the other day for the first time and having trouble getting the vacuum to start. An employee quickly came out to help. Really appreciated that and I'll be going there too from now on.

Biggest waste of money ever. I just paid over $20 and it looks like it didn't even touch my car. Also, why does it offer towel off services if there's no such thing? It just takes another $3.50 for literally nothing. The only decent thing about this place is the vacuum cleaner except for how much it cost to use it. I literally just spent almost $50 at a car wash place so that I could leave with my car looking pretty much the same as it did when I got there so if I were you, I wouldn't waste your money or time

Track caused obvious damage to my front and rear driver-side rims. I filed a claim and was told that this was pre-existing even though it most definitely was not. White guard/bumper device on track is clearly damaged or mis-aligned (see attached photo from my dashcam). I was not upset and simply wanted them to cover the cost of repairs, but they appear unwilling to do the right thing. If you have nice rims and want to keep them that way, I suggest you go elsewhere.
